The largest retail park in Belgrade, Capitol Park Rakovica, which will open in October 2017, is now fully let. By signing a contract with LC Waikiki, the scheme is being prepared for fitting-out ahead of its opening.  The total area of the first phase of the retail park exceeds 20,000 sqm, including over 30 shops, cinema, hypermarket and entertainment facilities leased to well known Serbian and international brands. It will serve the 200,000 inhabitants of the municipalities of Rakovica and Čukarica, and aims to become a new „capital of shopping“ in the southern suburbs of Belgrade.

In addition to the Turkish brand LC Waikiki, many other well known footwear, clothing, furniture and other brands have entered Capitol Park Rakovica. LC Waikiki regional manager Sinan Sahin expressed great satisfaction with plans to open their store in Capitol Park Rakovica and added:  “We are delighted to have become recognised as a quality fashion brand in Serbia, and by becoming part of Capitol Park Rakovica we confirm our mission to always listen to our customers’ needs and provide them with quality products at affordable prices.“

This investment brings modern shopping amenities in Rakovica and new jobs. Around 1,000 people were hired in the construction phase, while around 450 people will be employed after opening.
